    After They Are Gone

    When someone we love passes away,
    We ache, but we go on;
    Our dear departed would want us to heal,
    After they are gone.

    Grief is a normal way to mend
    The anguish and pain in our hearts;
    We need time to remember and time to mourn,
    Before the recovery starts.

    Let’s draw together to recuperate,
    As we go throught this period of sorrow;
    Let’s help each other, with tender care
    To find a brighter tomorrow.

    Please know that I am thinking of Ryan’s family right now. Ryan was a student of mine many years ago although it seems like yesterday. He was such a positive person and I will always fondly remember him. I am saddened that someone so young and talented is no longer with us. I was pleased to learn that besides a great career, he also found a loving wife and partner. I wish you all the best.
    Sincerely,
    Bill Gulde

    Unfortunately, the news of Ryan’s passing just reached me this weekend. I wish I could have attended his services. Ryan was a great friend for a number of years. I met him while working in Castleton Square Mall at Bath and Body Works. Ryan worked at the Health Rider kiosk in the middle of the mall outside our store. We were instantly friends, and continued to stay friends through his many cellular phone company endeavors. I’m very sad to say we lost touch over the last five or six years, and I had no idea he was diagnosed with Cancer. My condolences to all who loved Ryan. He was a good friend and will be greatly missed.

    I was introduced to Ryan my senior year of high school by my friend Whitney, and unfortunately she was also the one who called me last night to inform me of his passing. Like her, I have not seen Ryan for 5 or 6 years, but have thought of him many times. I have always held him in very high regard as he was one of the kindest, most respectful people I had ever met. I am so sorry for his wife and family and I just pray that in the short time that has passed they have been able to begin the healing process and find peace in knowing he is without any pain or suffering now.

    This was my best friend. I moved away and I don’t know how we lost touch. Although I am sure it was my fault. Ryan was like family and I wasn’t wven there for him. He was there for me through some rough times. Pam you even treated me like family. Ryan, you will always be in my thoughts and I will always remember you as a brother. I wish I could have had more time with you.
